And the two gorgeous stars made quite the impression as they led the glamour at a VIP dinner for designer brand Max Mara on Wednesday evening in the British capital.

It gave the effect of a strapless number, but added a touch of elegance to the fitted garment, which hugged the petite star's figure with ease.
The red-haired beauty elongated her lovely legs with a pair of gold court shoes with a towering stiletto heel, which brought her closer to her fellow actress' eye-level.
Her long locks were coiffed into sophisticated loose waves, the lengths of her tresses falling down her back looking glossy and shiny.

The Oscar-winning actress finished her evening look with a classic camel coat draped nonchalantly over her shoulders like a cape for one picture.
Meanwhile, Alice, 33, went for something a little more glitzy for the evening dinner held in honour of Max Mara.
She dressed her svelte physique in a jacquard gold skirt, designed in a structured A-line style, showing off her tiny waistline as well as her slim legs.
The Star Trek favourite tucked in a black sleeveless blouse with a ruffled collar, which looked striking  with her blonde hair slicked back into a tidy up-do.

Injecting some more glamour to proceedings, Alice's make-up was finished with a smokey eye, defined bronzed cheeks and a natural shade on her lips.
The actresses looked truly stunning as they posed for pictures at the elegant evening dinner for the luxury Italian fashion house, while Alice was also joined by her handsome husband Alex Cowper-Smith for the night.
The previous day, they had led the charge at the popular clothing line’s much anticipated show, which took place in conjunction with the opening of its expanded Old Bond Street boutique.
The lovely ladies spent time with Nicola Gerber Maramotti, the Director of European Retail Development of Max Mara, at both events.

Amy is on a high after marrying her partner of 14 years, artist Darren Le Gallo, in secret on May 2.
According to E! News  Amy and Darren 'swapped vows in very hush-hush fashion, with only a small number of their close friends in attendance to witness the occasion'.
The wedding was presumably put on hold for many years due to Amy's busy schedule, with the actress starring in at least two box office hits every year since getting engaged in April 2008.
Meanwhile Alice recently issued an apology following an apparent attack on Bruce Jenner, and it looked as though the whole furore was behind her as she beamed for the cameras at Wednesday's upscale dinner event.
